Countryside Productivity Small Grant Scheme (CPSG) Round 2
The window for grant applications for the Countryside Productivity Small Grant Scheme is now open. If you’re interested in applying for the scheme we can help.
Application for grants opened on 9th July. The deadline for online submissions is midday on 3rd September 2019
The scheme provides investment towards specific items of equipment which will improve productivity and efficiency for farming and horticultural businesses. The grants are for 40% of the standard costs, with a minimum grant of £3,000 up to £12,000. Please note that the minimum spend is £7,500 for a 40% grant with the remainder to come from your own private sources.
Examples of items for livestock farmers include fixed and mobile handling systems, cattle crushes, EID readers. Dairy sector including calving detectors and heat detection equipment. The list of items of round 2 is more extensive, with 26 more items available than round 1.
Please ensure that your Rural Payments Agency (RPA) details are correct and up to date. The details for this must match the exact details in the application, otherwise your application will not be accepted.
If the application is approved, the items must be bought, paid for in full, installed and claim form submitted within 150 calendar days of receiving the grant funding agreement email, to receive the grant. Items must not be ordered or bought before you have received confirmation that the application has been approved.
