ABOUT THE OLD VICARAGE The property was constructed circa 1866 as the Parsonage to the adjacent Holy Trinity Church which was built 3 years earlier. Records show that the total cost of building the house was £1,643, most of which was contributed by the Rev. Wood who was to occupy the property at that time. Our clients were the first private owners of the property, having purchased it from the Church Commissioners in 1990 after it became surplus to requirements. After carrying out comprehensive renovations, they finally moved into the house 2 years later.
