This year we were on for a full turn out on the Wm Sykes Christmas party but sadly there was illness and injuries at the last minute and those that couldn’t attend were missed. However eleven of us still braved Manchester city centre and managed to drink, eat and celebrate accordingly. Our darts competition had mixed results with a conclusion that none of us are very good at darts but maybe the alcohol didn’t help. A packed Albert Schloss hosted us with food and music and a great time was had by all and in hindsight Rob Dixon might have been right and a parting shot of tequila wasn’t a great idea.
Some were quieter than others on the bumpy and speedy mini-bus home trip but everyone was back and in the office for 9am on the following day. Let’s see what next year holds.
