Wm Sykes were honoured to be asked to speak at the recent Huddersfield Town Football Club business networking event held at Grosvenor Casino in Huddersfield. Around fifty local business representatives and fellow commercial partners of the football club attended to hear from David Threlfall-Sykes (COO of HTAFC) and our own Guy Davis. Guy was asked questions by the host Callum Limb of HTAFC about his career, Wm Sykes as a business, the Wm Sykes success and about the property market as a whole; it’s confidence, pricing, what’s selling, forecasts for 2026 and of course the impending Budget and its potential impact upon the market.
The opportunity to showcase Wm Sykes and their incredible team was a great opportunity and the questions from the fellow guests were also engaging and informed as everyone’s favourite subject (after football) is the property and the housing market.
Asked why Wm Sykes is the market leader in its core market area Guy explained that it’s down to everyone at Wm Sykes, the teams knowledge, enthusiasm and highly regarded customer care.
David from HTAFC is always interesting to listen to with the Club’s ambitious plans for the stadium and the surrounding area and the cross section of fellow guests proved to make a thoroughly enjoyable event.
