They are well established with unsurpassed and extremely detailed local knowledge and experience. They have served the local community for several generations and hopefully will continue to do so for generations to come.

Mr A Hampshaw

We were impressed by the feedback we received on the properties we were looking for and decided that you would have put far more effort into selling our house than any other estate agent in Holmfirth that we employed.

Mrs H Kennett

I like their independence. They are not linked to any firms of solicitors and paying commissions.

Mrs P Taylor

Down to earth, honest and reliable.

Mrs Smith

When we decided to put our house on the market, I walked into all the estate agents in Holmfirth on a Saturday to test my reception. The best by far was Wm Sykes & Son, so I felt with Sykes we’d have the best chance of selling our property.

Mrs Eastwood

Great staff helping from start to finish.

Ceri Chippy

I cannot recommend Wm Sykes auctioneers highly enough. They were amazing. From the moment of initial contact I could not have been treated better. Every word of advice given proved to be correct and invaluable. I would not consider using anyone else for any sale be it agricultural or domestic.

Catherine Squires

The advice given as to how to sell our properties, and the way it was sold, meant we got a far better deal than just selling it in one lot. We are very happy with the service given.

Mr R Littlewood

An honest reliable family run business.
